Bronwen Murphy

Music and theatre are Bronwen’s first loves. Theatrically, she has been involved in a small number of productions in varying capacities, namely as assistant director in the University of South Australia’s productions of The Legend of King O’Malley and most recently as Musical Director for an original student-created show called Slumway. Musically, Bronwen has played the Trumpet since the age of nine and has been a member of numerous ensembles such as K&N Youth Brass, Adelaide Youth Orchestra and Enfield Brass, as well as competing and placing in State and National Solo Championships. She has also been asked to perform at functions on behalf of the Neurosurgical Research Foundation and was involved in the promotion of their Todd to Torrens event. Bronwen has a Bachelors Degree in Media Arts, Majoring in Music Media and Sub-Majoring in Children’s Literature and is now completing her Honours Degree in Drama, she is also a qualified Instrumental Teacher, teaching Trumpet and Trombone.
